Travel Time : Mason, Michigan Antiques

Have you ever been on a road trip through a new stretch of unknown and actually stopped to take a peek around at whats there? If not, I very highly recommend doing so! Within safety and reason of course.

One such stop during April of 2012 on a road trip with a few girlfriends from Chicago to Nashville resulted in an afternoon on horseback in Kentucky that was so much fun & memorable!

Today's unplanned stop was a result of this week's work trip to southern Michigan. While I travel around much of the state on a weekly basis, I try to be super efficient about these drives and time away from home - rarely getting the opportunity for a leisurely stop. But.. today, just south of Lansing - I decided to take a chance on an antiques billboard.

Enter - Mason, Michigan one of the largest groupings of antique stores and markets I have seen to date. Great finds, friendly shopkeepers and quiet location!

I will certainly be stopping again in the future to see the rest!
